Frequently asked questions

A. Submit the request through sign-in page
  1. Go to the sign-in page.
  2. Select Need help signing in?
  3. Select Forgot password?.

  4. Enter your email or username. This is your email address provided by your institution.
  5. Select Reset via Email.

After selecting Reset via Email, a message will be sent to the email address that you entered. This email has instructions on how to continue the process to reset your password:
  1. Visit the email inbox of the email address that you entered.
  2. Open the email message from Okta with the subject line Password Reset Requested
    Allow a few minutes for the email message to arrive and check your spam folder for the message if you don’t see it in your inbox.
  3. In the body of the email message, select Reset Password.

After selecting Reset Password in the body of the email, a web page will open asking you to Answer Forgotten Password Challenge.
  1. Answer the security question.
  2. Select Reset Password.

  3. In Reset your Okta password, enter a new password that meets the requirements.
  4. Enter the password again in the Repeat password field.
  5. Select Reset Password.

After you select Reset Password, you will receive confirmation of successful password reset and you will be able to use your new password to login to AIM-AHEAD application.
A. When institution’s program administrator requests for you to have access, you will receive an email providing directions to activate your account. The email will be sent from: noreply@okta.com with the subject: Your account is ready and needs to be activated. If you are unable to locate this email, check your spam folder. If the email message is not there either, then send an email regarding activation of your account to aimahead-swb-registration@hms.harvard.edu
